two “tough” exams

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

I had two exams today.  I totally thought they both would be hard.  One of them had a ridiculous amount of materials that it covered (and you could bring them all to class), so I was definitely freaking out about that one.

Luckily they both seemed relatively easy, and not the easy where I did badly.

KIN108R

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

So, I’m and MSU student. I’m taking classes this semster, full time.

One of those classes is (as noted above) KIN108R.

What does this mean? Indoor Soccer.

Now, when I took this class at LCC, all we did was play games the whole class period.

Do we do that at MSU? No!

We run drills for most of class then scrimmage the last 10-15 minutes.

Alright, I can handle that. It’s not so bad. At least I’m not taking an academic course.

Wait! What’s that? I have to write a paper for this class? It has to be 2 pages double spaced?

Alright, I can deal with that. I wrote a composition for my Spanish class that was that long in like a couple of hours.

But wait, it’s not just a research paper, it’s a paper about some soccer team that I choose. So I have to research the team, and all the other teams in the league so I can make a prediction about the future games. I don’t follow any sports, and I could totally care less about how they are going to do.

So what’s the moral of this story? Don’t take indoor soccer at MSU, it’s lame (except when we scrimmage).

…and by poster, I mean blog post-er.

Sean moved in on Saturday, which is pretty cool.  There has been many a dog sparring since.

Um, it’s super icy outside, and I need to salt the living daylights out of my concrete and other entrance materials.

not so sick anymore

I just have a little bit of a cold now.  You know mucus coming out of my nose, a little bit of a cough.  Nothing serious.

There’s alot of snow outside, and I don’t like shoveling so often.  Snow is heavy when there’s so much of it, and since I own my house, I HAVE to shovel it.   It made my back all sweaty.  I tricked Kristie into touching said sweaty back.  She wasn’t very happy….

Well, I should be reading for class.  Goodbye for now…
