a sicky

Unfortunately I was sick all weekend.  I went to class today, but it was definitely too early to do so.  I felt miserable.

I don’t like being sick.   In fact, I hate being sick so much that I hate it when people don’t use proper sick etiquette.  Your mom always told you to cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough.  Well, your mom was half right.  Cough or sneeze into your sleeve (I find the elbow pit the best).  Unless you happen to have antibacterial junk that you use immediately after, you are spreading your stupid sicky germs everywhere!!!!  Also, if you don’t have a tissue and you have to snuff it up every two seconds, please try and make it quiet, especially if you’re in smallish class.  I hear you everytime, and it annoys me beyond what you can imagine (besides the fact that it gives me a headache/urge to vomit as a result of my forced imagination of the movement of your fluids).  In general, if your sick and you are out in public, be courteous, for the love of God please be courteous.

Also, while I’m ranting I figured I would get a few other things off my chest…  If you’re about to turn, it does not do anyone any good if you use your turn signal after you are in the turn lane or a split second before you actually turn.  If you just so happen to be kind enough to turn it on altogether, please do it before you brake, that way I can get out of your lane or at least be warned that you may be stopping soon.  Lastly, tailgating is a necessary evil, when used properly.  Tailgating is a means of communicating with the person in front of you that you would like to go faster and they are in your way (either you want to go faster than the speed limit, or the person in front of you does not care enough about driving to know the current speed limit).  If the person in front of you cannot possibly go faster (like they are behind a stupid slowey), back the heck off.  Your intimate automobilic presence does not make me feel all warm and fuzzy, rather it makes me feel hot and angry (to one degree or another).  Please, do everyone a favor and just be patient, almost everyone wants to go faster, so don’t be a jerk.

Rants aside, I have a plethora of pictures I posted earlier that need to be linked in…
